For the first time since taking charge of Apple’s online and physical stores, Angela Ahrendts participate in a big event.
Apple's senior vice president will be in New York next week for the conference “The Year Ahead” organized by Bloomberg. She will be interviewed by the publisher Stephanie Mehta, on November 10th (Tuesday).
In addition to Ahrendts, there will also be Brian Moynihan (president and CEO of Bank of America), Tidjane Thiam (CEO of Credit Suisse), Diane von Furstenberg (founder and president of Diane von Furstenberg Studio), among others. The event will be opened by former NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Despite not making many public appearances like this, the executive has had an excellent internal evaluation mainly among the entire team that works in Apple Retail Stores. She communicates with everyone weekly and has traveled the world to visit most of Ma's more than 400 physical stores.
