Those interested should access edX, a platform founded in 2012 by Harvard University and MIT, renowned educational institutions in the United States. The site offers courses such as programming, entrepreneurship, creating digital games, developing websites, producing texts and much more. Each course is divided into themes and chapters, including activities at the end of classes. The tool also offers a discussion forum to chat with other students and clarify doubts. It is possible to find content in several languages, including Portuguese.

Interested in obtaining a certificate of completion must pay a fee, which varies depending on the chosen course. It is worth mentioning that the university usually offers free courses frequently, but there is no way to guarantee how long they will be available on the platform.

Step 1. Access the edX website (edx.org/school/harvardx) and click on "Register" in the upper right corner of the page;

Step 2. Enter the requested data and click on "Create Account" to register. If you want, you can use Facebook, Google or Microsoft credentials;

Step 3. Then click on "Explore Courses";

Step 4. Now, choose the course you want to study. You can use the filters on the left to refine your search or use the search field to find something specific;

Step 5. On the course page, you will find information on the content of the subjects. Click on "Enroll" to register;

Step 6. To access the content for free, without a certificate, click on "Attend this course as a listener";

Step 7. On the next page, click on "Start Course" to start the course;

Step 8. Use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to go back and forward the content;

Step 9. When there are questions, you must select the correct answer and click on "Submit" before proceeding. The correction is carried out on the spot, in real time;

Step 10. At the top of the screen, use the "Previous" and "Next" buttons to go back and advance the chapters. There, you can also find the tabs to access the discussion forum, track your progress, view the agenda and frequently asked questions;

Step 11. If you want to resume the course, go to the edX website and log in to your account. That done, click on your username, in the upper right corner, and click on "Resume Course".
