Hacker makes AirPlay work on Linux via XBMC

AirPlay has a lot of potential, only Apple is not (yet?) Exploring it as it should. We've seen hacks involving Macs and Apple TVs (1, 2), but now a developer has made the feature work on Linux (Ubuntu), through set-top box XBMC.

A Python script called airplay4.py is responsible for transmitting the video / audio from the iPad to the television, see:

For it to work also in XBMC on Windows, there are two toothpicks. What does Apple think, seeing these things?
