Griffin launches intermediate USB-C dock capable of recharging any MacBook Pro at full power

THE Griffin It is the newest accessory maker for the Apple world to get into the wave of USB-C docks for the latest MacBooks and MacBooks Pro. The Universal USB-C Docking Station is especially interesting because it occupies an underexplored intermediate range in the segment above the simplest options of $ 70-100, but below the pumped docks of $ 300 +.

As a major draw of the new Griffin accessory, we have the ability to recharge any recent MacBook (Pro) at full power as the dock delivers up to 85W of power in its USB-C port, meaning that even the 15 inch MacBook Pro can receive energy at its full capacity. In addition, we have here:

  • 4 USB-A 3.0 ports, one in front;
  • HDMI output capable of 4K transmissions;
  • Gigabit Ethernet port;
  • 3.5mm output for headphones.

All of this is contained in a very compact space gray aluminum casing (yes, the only color available).

The Universal USB-C Docking Station Cost $ 200 when it is launched and although Griffin has not yet specified a date, we will see the accessory coming to the shelves of the world very soon.
