GoPro Hero 7 Black now allows live streaming to YouTube

GoPro leads the action cam market and has expanded its product family trying to keep up with the latest technological developments. This week, the company launched the GoPro Hero7 in the versions Black, White and SilverYou can check all the details about each model here on the same site.

Action camera released for prices between R $ 1,999 and R $ 2,599

Black is the most powerful version and, among other interesting features, it has brought the possibility of making live broadcasts straight to YouTube. Today, GoPro is providing an update to the camera's mobile app to enable configuration and enable streaming.

In the video below you can see the company's idea of popularizing social media broadcasts including upright video sharing, which is common with smartphones.

Because GoPro's focus is on extreme sports, hiking and adventure, this update also shows the ability to share the speed at which you are moving, probably based on GPS usage. Similarly, you can also share a route on your mobile screen.

Before, to use this feature, you needed an RTMP URL, now the GoPro Hero7 Black able to connect to YouTube directly. This means that everything the camera needs to broadcast a live internet connection once it is set up to broadcast.

If you want, the user can use the internet connection of the smartphone, but apparently this is not an obligation.

During streaming, the camera has a transmission quality indicator. It lets you choose between 480p and 720p quality only, but gives you the option to save a 1080p version to your memory card as well.

We are testing the GoPro Hero7 Black here in the Connected World and will soon share our impressions of the camera. For now, you can check out our review of other GoPros like the GoPro Fusion 360, the best image quality 360 camera on the market today.
