Apple recently made another major contract for its team: that of Yoky Matsuoka, co-founder of Google X and former vice president of technology at Nest Labs (Alphabet subsidiary).
Robotics expert, Matsuoka would be working on the team of Apple’s chief operating officer, Jeff Williams, which is responsible, among other things, for the company's health-related initiatives (such as ResearchKit and CareKit, as well as HealthKit).
Matsuoka has quite a track record, even winning a MacArthur Foundation award for genius.
