Google will lend Street View Trekker to the third sector

Google announced a pilot program for public and non-profit organizations to help capture panoramic images of all types of terrain and landscapes using the Street View Trekker.

With a pilot program, Google promises to lend its Trekker equipment to third parties with the aim that new and incredible images can be shared by Google Maps and Earth to the world.

If you represent a non-profit tourism organization, government agency, university or research group, a form is available for you to apply for the project.

Update: In contact with GDiscovery, Google informed that the Trekker loan program is available to Brazilian organizations. To register, just use the same form already informed above.
