Google tries to do voice search underwater

Using an Android phone and a transducer, the Mountain View giant carried out a recent experiment to test the acoustics of Google Voice for mobile.

In an action held at the Great Barrier Reef, the most famous coral barrier in the world, two engineers from Google Austrlia found the perfect environment to challenge speech recognition technology.

Although it may seem simple, the test is extremely complex because the sound of the voice is changed by the underwater mask, then passed through the microphone and emitted by a loudspeaker. Watch the video to find out the result. :-]
