Google Street View will parade at Marquês de Sapucaí

Google Brazil announced, on Friday, that it will take its Street View equipment to “parade” in the most famous avenue of samba, Marquês de Sapucaí.

According to the company, the technicians will use the Trike vehicle, a kind of bicycle attached to a 360º super camera, to record all the moments of the parade of Rio de Janeiro’s champion samba schools.

“All the color, brightness, fantasy and joy of the best carnival groups of 2012 will be photographed and can be seen from anywhere on the planet, thus sharing the feeling of participating in the largest carnival in the world”, informed the company in its official blog.

If you are there and find Trike, do not forget to show all your samba on foot. 🙂
