Google Play Store now shows free space to download apps on Android | Internet

THE Google Play Store has gained a function that shows the space used and available to download new apps from the Android store. The feature lets you track how much internal storage has been used in percentage and how much free GB is on your mobile phone with the Google system. The tool also makes it easier and faster to delete applications to free up space in cases of reduced or fully crowded memory. In addition, the option lists the most commonly used and least used apps to make it easier to remove software. The news was revealed by ijazulhaqci, a user of the Reddit website, last Friday (11).

To use the new feature, the user must go to the menu, located on the upper left side of the screen, and tap My Apps & Games. Next page, just hit the Installed option to access the storage status of your smartphone. You can view the percentage of space used (33% used, for example) and the amount available to install new applications (such as 37 GB free).

If your storage space is almost or completely full, there is a new way to delete apps faster. Just tap on the Storage option and choose the apps you want to delete to free up internal memory. Lastly, press the green button at the bottom of the screen (Release 65 MB, for example). Additionally, you can filter apps by Recommended, Size, Data Usage, and Alphabetical Order.

Note that the apps in the Free Space tab are listed according to the reverse order of use. That is, the most used applications are at the bottom of the list, while the least used are at the top. This makes it easier for users to know which software they can uninstall from their device.
