Google Play have music and books in Brazil

In addition to publicizing the growth of Android in Brazil, which has reached 400% recently, Hugo Barra, Google's global mobile products manager, announced that the company has been negotiating the sale of music and books on the Brazilian service of Google Play.

“Google Play is a digital content market. We will release all types of content. Books arrive in Brazil in a few months. And for that, we will have a new form of payment, on the mobile phone bill. This will open the digital content in an incredible way ”, said Barra.

To make this possible, the Google executive said that the company is negotiating with local operators so that its customers can purchase content on Google Play and their payment is made through the monthly bill of the cell phone, without the need for a credit card.

The news on Google Play should reach the Brazilian market in 2012.
