Google Photos will have function to remove audio from videos

According to 9to5Google, the Google Photos app should soon have a new feature that will allow users to easily remove audio from videos.

Google Photos has some basic video editing tools that allow you to rotate the video, crop snippets and create individual versions of moments to share with friends and family.

A recent teardown of the application revealed that Google plans to add the possibility of removing audio from an existing video, which may bring more privacy.

There is no deadline for the new feature to reach the production version of Google Photos.
