Google Photos removes limit of 2 thousand photos per album?

Google Photos appears to have removed the 2,000 photo limit per album. At least it reports a user on the Reddit forums.

“I am on a trip with friends and we have already exceeded 2000 photos at some point and no alerts have appeared. In fact, we are now at 3000 and the trip is far from over, so I don’t know the new limit ”, he published.

Bug?

The limitation in Google Photos still exists, but a simple trick allows you to include more photos in an album without hitting the boundaries.

To make it possible, the service requires the user to access the album and then add the images from there.

If you try to include moving images from outside the album, Google Photos will still alert you to the 2,000 photo limit.
