Google today announced in Brazil the ?cycling? function within the Google Maps app.
?This means that the bicycle will appear next to the pedestrian, the car and public transport among the options for ways to get from one point to another?, published Marcus Leal, Google Maps manager in Brazil.
?All the path possibilities will be presented, accompanied by information that can weigh in the choice, such as the duration of the ride and the slope of the terrain. When on the desktop, the user can still click on a path and drag it ?.
Within a few days, other cities such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba, the cities with the largest cycling networks in Brazil, will be ready to be navigated.
