Google announced an interesting new feature on Google Maps that allows you to explore Mars and the Moon.
Both have been accessible through Google Earth for some time but this is the first time that the images are available for viewing within any browser.
“You can now take a virtual tour from your desktop on Google Maps. To start your interplanetary adventure, click on Earth mode at the bottom left of your map ”, mentions Google.
“Click on Mars to observe the change in atmosphere around the red planet; tilt the Moon and imagine yourself sliding along its peaks and craters ”.
