Google Maps now lets you create tracks with electric scooters. The feature is part of a Google partnership with Lime and is available for Android and iPhone (iOS) phones in the cities of So Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In addition to the route, distance and travel time, the app also reports the estimated cost and battery level of the vehicle. If the scooter is far away, the user can also find out the walking time to it.
In the following tutorial, check out how to find Lime scooters through the Google Maps app on your mobile. The procedure was performed on a Moto G7 Play with Android 9.0 (Pie), but the tips also apply version of the application to the Apple system.
