Google Maps will start suggesting routes that combine public transport use with mobility apps like Uber, Cabify, and 99 to get you to your destination. The new routes presented by the tool allow you to visualize the best routes, being able to use buses, subways and applications in the same trip. The feature will be implemented on Android and iPhone (iOS) phones over the coming weeks in 30 countries, including Brazil.
To access the suggestions, the user must enter their destination, choose the "Routes" option and select the "Public Transport" tab. Then, the application will show the most convenient suggestions for the route, merging the different vehicles. All information for each mode of transport will be displayed, such as the waiting time, streets to be traveled, the cost of travel and traffic information.

The new feature is useful, for example, if it is more advantageous to ask an Uber to get to a train station instead of walking, or to use a bicycle to get to a bus stop and pick up your bus. According to Google, the initiative was designed to facilitate the initial and final routes of each trip.
If the user chooses to use a transportation application on a hybrid trip, he can choose the type of race, whether economical or shared, as well as view the values within Maps itself before requesting the car. In Brazil, you can now request a Uber or 99 from Google Maps.
