Google knows what you bought on the Internet in recent years; know how to delete | Security

Google keeps track of your online store purchases. The company uses the information received through online order and payment emails through Gmail to set up a record that includes the product, value, site the purchase was made, order number, and other details. The data is private and is protected by Google's privacy policy, but it may bother more conservative users.

In the following tutorial, check out how to access your shopping history in your Google account and delete the data. The process can be time consuming as the platform does not allow deleting all items at once. The procedure can be performed by computer or mobile phone. In the latter, the images were captured on an iPhone (iOS), but the tips also apply to Android users.

Step 1. Visit myaccount.google/purchases and if necessary sign in to your Google account. Your shopping list will be loaded. Select an item to view details;

Step 2. If you want to delete a purchase, copy the product name and press the "Remove Purchase" option;

Step 3. A message informs you that you need to delete the email message about the purchase in order to remove it from the listing. Check "View Email";

Step 4. Gmail be opened. Finally, paste the product name and open the message about the purchase. It usually appears as a search suggestion, just below the search field;

Step 5. Finally, with the purchase email open, press the trash can icon to delete the message and thereby remove purchase data from Google's bank.

Step 1. Visit myaccount.google/purchases via your mobile browser and sign in to your Google account if necessary. Your shopping list will be loaded. Touch an item to see details. If you want to delete a purchase, copy the product name and tap "Remove purchase";

Step 2. A message informs you that you need to delete the email message about the purchase in order to remove it from the listing. Tap "View email" to access the Gmail app;

Step 3. In Gmail, use search to search for the product purchase email. Open the message and finally touch the trash can icon to delete it.

Ready! To delete all purchases, you must repeat the procedure for each list item. Unfortunately Google does not offer the option to delete everything at once.
