Google expands traffic information in Brazil

Google today promoted an update to its Google Maps traffic condition estimation feature by adding new countries: Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Mexico, Peru, Romania and South Africa.

In addition, the company also announced the expansion of street coverage in 19 countries and regions, which include Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

In Brazil, in particular, the traffic resource can now be found in the cities of Recife, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Curitiba; and are available on Google Maps for mobile and Navigation on Android.
