Google Drive will have support for Linux

According to SlashGear, Google is working to bring native support for Linux on Google Drive, just as the service currently works on Windows and Mac.

The news was posted on the Google Docs user forum by Teresa Wu, Product Manager, when answering questions related to Linux. She explained that an open-source version of the application is under development.

At the moment, Linux users can add their files to Google Drive using the product’s web interface, but there is still no easy way to sync files as on other platforms.
