According to the Google Cloud Status Dashboard, the problem started at 4:25 pm (GMT) on Google Compute Engine. The site reports that Google is working to resolve the issue.
"We are experiencing high levels of network congestion in the eastern US, affecting various services on Google Cloud, GSuite, and YouTube. Users may see slow performance or intermittent errors. We believe we have identified the root cause of the congestion and expect a return to normal service soon, "the statement said.
In Brazil, one of the affected services is Google Analytics, which shows the number of hits to websites, which is fluctuating and even zeroing the number of hits in a few seconds.
