Google announced the launch of a dark way behind its productivity applications. This new dark mode started to be available on Monday, July 6th, and should reach all Android smartphones over the next two weeks.
To activate dark mode, you will need to access the settings for the respective applications. However, explains Google, the apps will adapt to the theme that is applied to the user's mobile phone, which means that they can take the dark mode automatically.
In 2019, the tech giant promised to launch a dark mode for all its applications. Since then, apps like Gmail and Google Calendar have gained a dark mode, although some have come exclusively to Android.
The dark mode is no longer a novelty. Over the past few years, there are few technological ones that have made no effort to create dark modes for their technological solutions. The phenomenon is not justified for aesthetic reasons, but mainly because this feature helps to save the equipment battery.
