According to information Net Applications, a company that specializes in monitoring trends on the Internet, noted that Internet Explorer users have migrated in greater numbers to the new Google browser.
Compared to other browsers, Internet Explorer reportedly dropped 1.4% of its total 71% of the market segment. However, Opera, Firefox and Safari browsers grew over the same period.
Firefox: Up 0.3% to 19.5% Safari: Up 0.4% to 6.7% Opera: Up 0.1% to 0.75%
Although it is a big surprise, the explanation for this phenomenon is due to the fact that advanced users are more present in alternative browsers than in Internet Explorer, which makes a possible migration to Chrome slower.
