This is because, based on the experience of observing searches for the expression "lesbienne", it was possible to detect other sensitive points, which were not disclosed.

According to Google, the priority is to offer the user exactly the content they seek. One of the sensitive points mapped, which led to a change in the algorithm, was the difference between the results offered for LGBTQ + public research. The type of content offered when the focus was on men or people with different gender identities was potentially different when it involved women.

For example, when searching for "gay", "homosexual" or "trans" the suggestions used to be Wikipedia or information pages. Pornographic content was offered only if the search was directed to it. However, some of the content prioritized by Google for the term "lesbian" was sexual or suggestive, even though the word was not accompanied by any other related pornography.
