We already talked about Timely here, and we know that Google likes the app, as well as being one of my favorite apps. For now the Mountain View company has purchased its Bitspin, developer of the phenomenally designed alarm app. The announcement was made today by Bitspin himself on his website.
In the announcement, the company says it will continue to develop new products and that Timely will continue to work as usual. The best news, actually, is another: in this acquisition process, the unannounced version is free. For those interested, just check out the Google Play Store and download the app before Google kills it as it has done with others.
Perhaps the next version of Android come with Timely as the default clock, as, although functional, the Clock app that comes with the ugly robot OS. Or maybe the purchase was made just to take advantage of some features of the app, such as how to add alarms; We'll know in the future.
Someone uses Timely, are you happy with the app?
