Google announces Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0

Google announced this morning, in Hong Kong, its new super phone of the Nexus line, the Galaxy Nexus. Developed again in conjunction with Samsung, the device is the first to be equipped with Android 4.0 version, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich.

In addition to the slim design and an amazing 4.65-inch curved display with HD Super AMOLED (720p) technology, the Galaxy Nexus emerges as the first Android Phone without buttons on its front, allowing you, for example, to take advantage of all the screen when watching a video or rotating the navigation buttons according to the use chosen by the user.

The new Nexus also comes bundled with a 5 megapixel rear camera (with LED flash), a 1.3 megapixel front camera, 1080p quality video recording, panoramic photo feature, 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 3.0.

It also has USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, an NFC module, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor and even a barometer. In terms of performance, the device features 1GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage and a 1,750mAh battery.
