Google and JBL introduce Link Bar that can be controlled with Google Assistant

THE Google has partnered with JBL to develop a new JBL Link Bar product model, a smart soundbar enabled with Google Assistant. The device is meant to be close to TVs, usually serving almost like a home theater.

In addition to acting as a Google Home, JBL Link Bar is also a streaming speaker for Android TV. The product can entertain the user in a variety of ways, whether by listening to music, looking for a movie, adjusting the intelligent lighting of a mode or just offering the weather forecast.

Google only gave a preview of the new product, so we don't know all of its specifications yet – although the product's advertising image shows 4 HDMI connections. Also not disclosed price of the gadget. It is speculated that the JBL Link Bar is similar to JBL's Bar Studio, which has one woofer and two tweeters.

Google will officially present the JBL Link Bar during the Google I / O, conference of the company that starts today, May 8, and ends on the 10th of this month. The expected product to reach the end of the year. Meanwhile Google should be looking for app partners to include in the new soundbar.
