1. Send confidential email

Just like on a PC, you can send a confidential email via Gmail on your phone. The feature locks the message content with a password and automatically deletes the content after a certain period, which can be days, months or years. To take action, open a new email, tap the three little dots of options, select Confidential Mode and then set the validity and type of the unlock password.

In addition to attaching files saved in the phone's gallery, Gmail allows you to capture photos and videos instantly with the camera to be sent in emails. Photos can be included in the body of the email, but the videos will always be attached. To open the camera, touch the office clip icon at the top of the screen, then the camera symbol in the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen.

Gmail allows you to find emails in any folder using voice commands. To search for an item, simply tap the magnifying glass cone in the upper right corner of the screen, and then the microphone button. The voice capture screen will immediately open and a beep will also indicate when the user can start talking. After identification, the emails found will be displayed on the screen.

You can also send files from Google Drive as an attachment to Gmail emails on your phone. To do this, simply tap the clip icon at the top of the screen and scroll down the attachment screen until you find the Google Drive option. All available documents will appear on a carousel. The Gmail application lets you insert GIFs into the body of the email. On iPhones (iOS), the user can copy an animation from external apps, such as WhatsApp or a browser, for example, and then paste directly into the body of the message. On Android devices, this method does not work, but it is possible to add GIFs from Gboard to messages.

If the user has more than one Google account in the Gmail app, he can switch between profiles with just one touch. To make the switch, access the side menu by touching the three horizontal stripes of options, and then touch the icon of the desired secondary profile in the upper right corner of the tab. If the user wants to postpone an email to receive it again later, just touch the desired message for a few moments, until the stock options are opened. Then, I need to touch the three dots in the upper right corner and Postpone. Now just choose when the email should be highlighted in the inbox again.

It is possible to synchronize accounts from other email providers, such as Outlook, iCloud and Yahoo, to receive them in Gmail, which avoids having to keep multiple apps on the device. To do this, access the side menu and tap on the arrow next to the main email. Then select the Manage accounts option and then Add account.
