Gmail Labs: Hide Labels

Google announced This Wednesday the implementation of a new experimental functionality in Labs that allows hiding the labels of the Gmail interface.

According to the company, the “Remove Labels from Subjects” function is designed specifically to help Netbook users reduce the visuals of the webmail interface.

“Once enabled, Gmail will automatically hide message markers in the inbox, leaving more room for message subject matter,” the Gmail team said.
