Step 1. Access the mobile widget gallery. On Motorola cell phones, which have a low-modification interface, you must keep your finger pressed on an empty space on the home screen and then tap on "Widgets".

Step 2. Locate the Gmail widget and drag the "Label" item to the desired location on your home screen. Your folders and bookmarks will be displayed. Touch the folder or bookmark for which you want to create the shortcut.

Step 3. If you want, you can change the text of the shortcut which, by default, has the same name as the folder or bookmark. Finally, tap "Done" to add the home screen shortcut.
