Gmail is having trouble on Monday afternoon (19) preventing users from accessing their accounts from their computer or smartphone app. According to Twitter reports and the Downdetector website, which monitors the status of various platforms, Google's service has been down and has not logged in since 3:13 pm, displaying the message "something went wrong."
According to Google Trends, which monitors Internet searches, there were spikes in search terms for terms like "I can't access my gmail", "gmail won't sign in" and "gmail isn't working"

Update: Google issued a note at 4:32 pm, informing that the service is gradually being re-established, and has already returned to some users.
