Gmail app for iOS gets improvements and a new design feature

In addition to bringing several new features to Google+ Hangouts, the Mountain View giant also announced some improvements to the Gmail iPhone app.

ā€œWe have added the ability to define a personalized signature for your messages and an automatic vacation response, both available through the gear icon at the top of the menu window. We’ve also improved support for labels, ā€explained the Gmail team.

The company also warned of changes in the sound that notifies the arrival of new emails, a closer integration with Google+ circles and the addition of a new feature, Gmail Scribbles, which allows you to send a quick outline of something that it can be difficult to ā€œexpress yourself through wordsā€.

ā€œAdd a fun graphic to make your email even more personal. Scribbles has the support of different colors, brush sizes, lines, erasers and spray paints ā€.
