Glovebox: Make Android Face Ubuntu Phone

Make Android more like Ubuntu for Phones

A taste of Ubuntu Phone without leaving Android

I confess that I do not intend to leave Android, at least for now, to use Ubuntu Phone or Ubuntu Touch as it is being called, but I admit that the interface Canonical gave to Ubuntu was very cool, the Unity launcher to open the applications a Very practical tool.

Thinking about it I've been researching mods and apps to make Android "ubuntized" many themes already existed, but none of them brought Glovebox; Glovebox is nothing more than an App for the green rob system that will bring the Ubuntu Phone Unity launcher to your Android screen.

Ubuntu Phone Interface on Android

The exact same effect as Ubuntu Phone, the side dock normally hides until you pull it aside and open (or not) any of the pinned apps.

Download the App directly from Google Play:

I prefer pure Android, but I tested the app for a whole day (from yesterday to today) it shows good behavior, few or no bugs, in case the main problem lies in the memory of my Smartphone, it consumes a bit of memory and slowed my Smartphone a bit slower (I have a SG Ace Plus GT-S7500L with 512 MB RAM) when running more than 3 apps simultaneously.

A good choice for those who like to customize the phone.

See you guys!
