The last time we touched on the subject of the work of Apple Fifth AvenueOfficial reports (not from Apple, but from the co-owner of the building where the store is located) said it could be opened in the first half of 2019.
Well, it's September, and so far, nothing. However, it seems that things are finally heading towards this.
As we can see from the image above, the famous glass cube is being put back. And that may be a great indication that the works below, underground, are nearing the end.
Apple is already even promoting the new space (which runs 24/7) with the slogan Always Open to Open Minds (Always Open to Open Minds ”). However, no specific date for the on-site shore launch.
Did you notice the rainbow look? For: according to CNBC reported, it is a kind of glued film / adhesive that generates this effect. The look, of course, will be temporary it will be removed when the store is reopened.
Here's what is written on this sticker that surrounds the cube:
Apple Fifth AvenueAlways Open to Open Minds
Under the surface of Fifth Avenue, you will soon discover a reinvented space where creativity is always welcomed. A 24-hour store with doors open to the bright lights and great ideas of this city, ready to inspire what you can do, discover and do next.
O Quartz, in turn, said he saw a camera crew close to the cube and, talking to one of the team members, were informed that Apple was filming a commercial for the reopening of the store.

It is worth noting that the store has been closed for renovations since January 2017, the cube itself has been removed in March and since then it has been operating a temporary store nearby, where FAO Schwarz (famous toy store) operated.
Now let's get out of New York and go to California (more precisely, to the city of San mateo). There, one more Ma store was targeted by thieves.
According to local police, several devices were stolen from Apple Hillsdale, which is located in a mall of the same name. Police received the theft warning at 9:01 pm yesterday (Thursday, 5 September) and arrived at the scene just two minutes later, but the three suspects had already left the scene.
The details themselves were not disclosed, but it is known that they managed to carry around 40 devices, according to the report. East bay times. There was a chase when the suspects left the scene, but the police lost sight of them at some point.
Apple's California stores, as we have reported, have been the target of several similar thefts, but a few days ago a very similar case occurred in Australia. We'll see how Ma intends to solve this problem.

Update 09/09/2019 s 14:07
According to sources AppleInsider, the new iPhones will hit the market (ie, go on sale in stores) on September 20th. And the date would also mark the reopening of Apple Fifth Avenue which makes a lot of sense considering that Ma has always opted to reopen some of its stores with the start of new handset sales.
