very funny when a new product arrives on the market with one or another characteristic superior to an Apple success and soon taxed as "IFulano-killer". We are already tired of seeing this with the iPhone and now we will also see it with the iPad, as if that were really enough; Apple is not unbeatable, but whoever wants to fight will have to come up with a good arsenal.
A German manufacturer called Neofonie introduced the WePad (very suggestive name, of course), a tablet with a 11.6 inch touchscreen (with 1366 × 768 pixels of resolution) and Google Android operating system a few days ago. Its processor will be an Intel Atom N450 at 1.66GHz, with GMA 3150 graphics.
It is also worth mentioning the presence of a 1.3 megapixel webcam, two USB 2.0 ports, card reader, 16GB or 32GB NAND memory options, UMTS modem, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, optional GPS and a battery that promises to last about six hours.
WePad does not yet have defined prices or a forecast of availability in the market.
