Longtime supporter of the idea of an “iTV”, analyst Gene Munster, of Piper Jaffray, reiterated yesterday again that he does not think that the product is more a matter of “if”, but “when”.

According to Munster, the television interface will be one of its main differentials in relation to the competition. The software would provide easy access to apps and games, as well as the integrated Siri assistant.
For the analyst, “iTV” should have versions from 42 to 55 inches, with prices ranging from $ 1,500 to $ 2,000 – which should increase Apple’s annual revenues by 4-8%, according to his forecasts.
The expectation is that the product will be announced by the end of this year, reaching the market in early 2013.
