Gboard has advanced text editing;  learn how to use

Gboard for Android has a tool that makes it easy to edit texts on your phone – especially long ones, with multiple lines and paragraphs. The feature allows the user to move the cursor sideways and up / down as if using the computer. It is also possible to go to the beginning or end of the text quickly – function of the «Home» and «End» keys on the PC keyboard.

In the following walkthrough, learn how to access and use the Google keyboard text editing tool. It is worth remembering that the feature is exclusive for smartphones with Android and there is no prediction of when it will arrive at the iPhone version (iOS).

Step 1. When editing text in any application, tap on the Google icon and then on the three-point button.

Step 2. Touch «Text editing». You can use the arrows to move the cursor quickly. Use the «Select» function to mark the text while moving the cursor. The keys on the right allow you to select all the text, copy and paste quickly. Finally, using the arrows at the bottom, you can go to the beginning or end of the text.
