Gboard for Android gains anonymous mode

Gboard can soon make automatic responses

The beta version of Gboard for Android now has anonymous mode that prevents the virtual keyboard from saving any data or written word.

Previously limited to the next generation of Android, currently known as “O”, anonymous mode is now available for Android Marshmallow and later versions.

Although the search engine has not specified its exact functionality, it is very likely that Gboard will not record any data while in this mode.

To activate Gboard’s “no trace” mode, just open Chrome in anonymous mode.

For now, it is not possible to activate it independently.
