Google is working on adding a ‘Smart Answer’ feature to the virtual keyboard that will allow users to respond with just a few taps.
9to5Google observed a code that details the ability of contextually relevant phrases that you can use to respond by tapping once, instead of having to type them.
Currently, the smart replies feature works in certain apps with Gmail, but typing on the keyboard may end this limitation.
The blog noted that the feature could work with Hangouts, Android Messages, Allo, Facebook Messenger and Messenger Lite, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Tencet.
