A decree-law was published in Diário da República that obliges the owners of fuel stations to disclose online the prices charged in their establishments.
The legislation published this Thursday requires holders of operating licenses for stations located in Mainland Portugal to inform consumers about the prices charged, but also about the location, opening hours and existing services.
The data should be provided on the website of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology, starting next January 3rd.
