First edition of Game XP separate from Rock in Rio seems to have pleased the audience. Event should become annual on Rio’s agenda. Tickets have already sold out for Saturday (08) and Sunday (09).
The Olympic Park has never seen so many gamers gathered in one environment. The general public that was present in the first two days of the Game XP, took advantage of all the spaces of the biggest game event in Latin America. The organization estimates that more than 45,000 people have already attended the event in the first days. But it’s not over yet, who managed to buy tickets for Saturday and Sunday will also be able to experience everything there, the tickets have already sold out. The spaces inside the Arenas, called Oi Game Arena, Game Play Arena and Inova Arena brought together many of the visitors of Game XP. But outside, at Experience Bay, it was no different. There, visitors find the attractions in giant size, such as the Spider-Man climb, the Just Dance 2018 stage, the ferris wheel, the PES 2018 courts and the Rainbow Six Laser Tag space.
Ryan Schneider, Chief Brand Officer at Insomniac Games, participated on the Game Play Arena stage to talk about the studio’s latest release, the brand new Spider-Man game, a game exclusively for PlayStation 4. Schneider played with Luciano Amaral some missions and talked to an audience that filled the stage space. He answered some questions throughout the gameplay. Inova Arena also received a large number ofand enthusiasts. Among the highlights, the Hyperloop attraction moved the space of the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development – ABDI and drew the attention of young people and adults.

Oi Game Arena was the stage for the final of the South American University Tournament of League of Legends, played in three phases by teams from Brazil, Colombia and Peru. With a full house, the games infected the public, which vibrated with each move. The finalists on the Rainbow Six women’s circuit also played for the title in an exciting competition.
