THE Flappy Bird was a highly successful smartphone game that quickly won millions of players for being addictive and very difficult. The success scared the game’s creator, Dong Nguyen, who was so harassed that he decided to take the game off the market. Now he promises to return with Flappy Bird, but in a less addictive version.
Dong Nguyen told Kelly Evans on a CNBC program that the game is in development, but that it will take some time until its release. The probable date is August of this year. He also stated that the game will be less addictive and that it will have the multiplayer function.

Although simple, Flappy Bird is in fact a very difficult game, and it was available on the Play Store until Nguyen decided it wouldn’t be! He even vented on Twitter, stating that he could no longer stand the harassment of journalists and asking them to leave him alone. Did he get real and now he wants to regain the prestige of his game?
