Samsung launches Game Pad, a gadget that turns your smartphone into a game console. The device arrives in Brazil for R $ 449
The evolution of smartphones has made these mobile devices increasingly present in everyday life. However, there is still a limitation in the use for games, which hardly deliver experience similar to that of dedicated consoles.
To change this scenario, the Samsung brings to Brazil the Game Pad, an accessory that turns your smartphone into a portable game console. The gadget has an Android operating system and connects to the smartphone via Bluetooth. It also brings NFC for easy pairing with compatible devices. Samsung recommends using the Game Pad with cell phones up to 6.3 inches.
The Game Pad is compatible with more than 40 games optimized, such as Asphalt 8 and Sonic. To bring the console experience to the smartphone, the gadget features two analog controls, four action buttons, two trigger buttons and the Play button, which allows quick access to the application that brings together a list of compatible games. Through accessories sold separately, it is also possible to connect the Game Pad to TVs using an HDMI cable.
The new Samsung gadget will be available on major retail chains for a suggested price of R $ 449.00.
