The fourth episode, not yet released, of the seventh season of HBO’s «Game of Thrones» series, has been leaked online, a distribution partner for the Star India channel said on Friday. The leak of the episode «The Spoils of War» occurred separately from the attack on HBO released earlier this week, according to a statement from the broadcaster. In the incident, the company’s chairman, Richard Plepler, said in an email to employees that the hackers stole «proprietary information», including some programming.

«We take this violation very seriously and immediately begin forensic investigations … to quickly identify the cause. This is a serious issue and we are taking appropriate legal action,» said a spokesman for Star India, a subsidiary of Twenty-First Century Fox.
On Monday, Entertainment Weekly reported that hackers stole 1.5 terabyters of data, including two unreleased episodes of «Game of Thrones». HBO is owned by Time Warner.
