As in 2012, 2013 and 2014, Tim Cook participated this year in the Sun Valley conference (in Idaho, USA) alongside Eddy Cue as representatives of Apple.
Among the photos above, published by Daily Mail Online, we see Cook with Bill Gates (Microsoft), Ben Silbermann (Pinterest) and Ginni Rometty (IBM). But the conference was attended by a number of other major participants, including Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg (Facebook), Bob Iger (Disney), Tim Armstrong (AOL), Jack Dorsey and Dick Costolo (Twitter), Jorge Paulo Lemann, Michael Dell, Elon Musk (Tesla), Warren Buffet, Rupert Murdoch, Evan Spiegel (Snapchat), Jeff Bezos (Amazon.com), Jerry Yang (Yahoo), etc.
Organized annually by Allen & Company, the conference is considered a “billionaires summer meeting”. The purpose is to promote debates on the media industry, but the opportunity also ends up being used to initiate / close major trade agreements.
