Galaxy Tab S4 gets security patch in March

Galaxy Tab S4 gets March security patch

Samsung recently released the March security patch for the Galaxy S10 line. Now, it's time for the Galaxy Tab S4, which features the model number "SM-T830", to be awarded the latest Google fixes.

Looking at the firmware version "T830XXU4BTB2", it is possible that new features have been added by Samsung. However, the changelog mentions only March security improvements. So, if there are news, they will certainly be discovered by users soon.

At the moment, this new update can be downloaded via OTA in several regions, including the United Kingdom, Austria, Italy, France, the United States, Luxembourg, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Southeast Europe and Nordic countries. However, if everything goes well with the distribution and no critical error is detected by the company, other countries should receive the new patch in the next few days or weeks.

As soon as the update is available, a notification will be sent to users, but if you want to check the arrival manually, just go to "settings> software update> download and install". Before carrying out the installation, check the amount of battery available to avoid disconnections during the process, we recommend at least 50%.

As for Android 10, which will be the last major update to the Galaxy Tab S4, there is still no deadline for its official release, given that Samsung has focused on its smartphones. Therefore, we will have to wait for some company statement that will reveal when your 2018 tablet will be awarded the new mobile OS from Google.
