According to the Korean website The Bell, Samsung already works on the Galaxy S9 and would have chosen the name «Star» as the code name for the model (and «Star 2» for the larger model).
The publication reports that the development of the device would be 3 to 4 months ahead of the manufacturer’s schedule, but little is known about possible new features when compared to the current Galaxy S8.
For some specialized vehicles, the future generation of the Galaxy S will offer an even more refined screen and possibly fingerprint reading integrated into the device’s display.
In parallel, the South Korean company has also been preparing the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 for the coming months – which will be crucial to regain consumer confidence.
