Samsung has not yet started sales of the Galaxy S20 line around the world, given that this will happen on March 6. However, the South Korean giant has already released the first software update for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, its most powerful model.
According to a screenshot, possibly from a testing facility in South Korea, this update improves the device's cameras, in addition to delivering the March security patch. This makes the Galaxy S20 Ultra the first Samsung smartphone with the latest Android fixes.
The new update, which weighs about 418MB and features the firmware version "G988NKSU1ATBR", also fixes an issue with the device's automatic flash. Releasing an update even before the start of sales is a very common strategy for Samsung and other manufacturers, after all, these companies want to deliver the best possible user experience to their customers.
Although it has not been confirmed, we believe that a similar update will also be available for the Galaxy S20 and S20 + soon. Anyway, it is very likely that this new update of the Galaxy S20 Ultra will be available as soon as the owners start the system for the first time.
The new smartphone high-end from Samsung delivers some interesting features, like the 108MP camera, Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 100x "Space Zoom", 40MP front sensor and 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, for example. Below you can see its complete hardware:
