As usual, February is the month that marks the arrival of the new generation of the main line of smartphones from Samsung. The main novelty already stands for the name of the new edition, which will not follow the established pattern of previous ones. Instead of Galaxy S11, the successor to the Galaxy S10 will be called Galaxy S20!
Through a live broadcast, the new specifications, screen and details about the camera of the new device were revealed, as well as its special editions.
Despite being the star of the day, the Galaxy S20 was not the only participant to be present. A new foldable smartphone was also announced, as well as the next edition of the Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Tab tablet and accessories like the Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Home Mini.

Galaxy Z Flip: new foldable smartphone
Some features with the Galaxy Z Flip were shown, such as the ability to view notifications, messages and schedules without opening the smartphone. In addition, it will be perfectly possible to take selfies with the device in that position.
It can be used at different angles, in a mode called Flex Mode. It will allow you to use your smartphone in several positions, not just closed or open. In addition, each half of the screen will work with a multi-window, allowing you to open different applications simultaneously.
Camera specs and details were not revealed, but the Galaxy Z Flip's screen protection mechanism, which uses fibers to prevent dust and dirt from entering, as well as scratches when the screen is closed, was shown.

Screens
The primary screen of the Galaxy Z Flip has an impressive size of 6.7 inches. It comes equipped with dynamic AMOLED technology and the Flex display mentioned above. Its resolution will be 2636 x 1080 and pixel density of 425ppi.
Now the screen on the cover is used when the smartphone is closed 1.1 inch Super AMOLED, 300 x 112 resolution and 303ppi.
Camera
The Galaxy Z Flip hits the market with a dual camera at the rear and just a front camera for selfies. At the rear, the main camera will be 12MP angled with a field of view of 78 and a digital zoom of up to 8x.
The second camera also comes with 12MP, but ultra-wide for panoramic photos, with a viewing angle of 123. The front camera is 10MP and field of view of 80.
Processor, memory and storage
The Galaxy Z Flip comes with a 7 nanometer octa-core processor, with a core core of 2.95 GHz and complementary cores of 2.41 GHz and 1.78 GHz.
It will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, standard for premium smartphones today. The Galaxy Z Flip also arrives with the current edition of Android 10.

The Galaxy S20 unveiled!
Processor, memory and storage
The processor of the Galaxy S20 will be the same with each other and the configuration will depend on the launching country and the operator that sells the smartphone. Both are 7 nanometer octa-core processors.
The difference is in the cores. The first has a main core of 2.7 GHz, with secondary cores of 2.5 GHz and 2 GHz. The second option is more robust in the primary core, which will be 2.8 GHz. The secondary will be 2.4 GHz and 1.8 GHz.

- GalaxyS20: with the new LPDDR5 memory standard, the Galaxy S20 comes in two RAM options: 8GB or 12GB. Both alternatives have 128 GB storage, which can be expanded by memory card;
- Galaxy S20 +: the intermediate edition comes in more options for users. The simplest also has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of storage. The following options have 12 GB of RAM, but you can choose 128, 256 or 512 GB of storage;
- Galaxy S20 Ultra: the most powerful version of the new smartphone to hit the market with three options for memory and storage. The first two will have 12GB of RAM and you can choose between 128 and 256GB of storage. The most powerful edition brings 16GB of RAM and 512GB to install apps, photos and any type of file.
