Galaxy Note 10.1, you may already have yours.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Announced earlier this year during MWC 2012, the Galaxy Note 10.1 has finally hit stores in some countries this week. It has the same concept as the Note smartphone, but with a (much) larger screen and a much better pen to make notes and drawings on the screen.

With a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, Note 10.1 should fly on any task, but according to several blogs that have tested the device, it crashes when performing certain tasks. In the rest, the tablet has a plastic construction, a 10.1 inch screen with 1280800 pixels resolution, 3 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera, plus two internal storage options (16 and 32GB) with the possibility of expansion via SD card. The tablet is also accompanied by the S Pen, which this time was made in partnership with Wacom and brings 1024 pressure points, and can change the intensity of the stroke in Photoshop according to the force imposed on the pen, for example.

Galaxy Note 10.1 runs Android 4.0 with Samsung's Touchwiz, which gives the system a nice overhaul at some points even for the better. An example of this are apps designed to take full advantage of the new S Pen and the split screen mode that, while working with only a few Samsung apps, turns out to be a hand in hand for anyone who needs a text editor and the browser open at the same time.

Outside, the Samsung Galaxy Note Wi-Fi comes in at $ 499 for the 16GB version and $ 549 for the 32GB. There is no forecast of arrival and price of the tablet here in Brazil.
